At Lincoln Center fundraiser for the founding of the National Women's Political Caucus, A graduate of Harvard Law School, Patricia Schroeder (1940-) had worked as a lawyer and lecturer before entering Congress. Her time in the House was notable for her involvement with a coalition of feminist Congresswomen in the 1980s and 1990s who established a successful campaign to remove barriers to women's promotion in the military.
