Diana Mara Henry volunteered to work in the bookstore under the leadership of Bruce Sofer,even before the ICP opened, in 1974. She was then hired by Via Wynroth to assist in the Education program. Charged by Founder and Director Cornell Capa to be Originator and Director of the Community Workshop Program, Diana Mara Henry taught black-and-white and Cibachrome photography there from 1975 to 1979. The ICP Library houses the exhibit Women Photographers of NY State which she created in 1977 for the NY State Women's Meeting at the Empire State Plaza in Albany.
