Portfolio of house photographs courtesy Rudy Vogel (video link) proudly features: Wireless high-speed internet, A luxurious continental breakfast is served at whatever hour you choose, refreshments of fruit, pastry, cheese, waters and coffee are available throughout the day and evening. Guests may hike, bicycle or jog in Forest Park across the street, taking in the zoo, nature trails, public pool and the finest clay tennis courts in the Northeast (as well as composition courts.) Or you may wish to enjoy the LATHROP HOUSE B&B’s own garden of herbs and roses and swing on the columned front porch. The Lathrop House is a grand Victorian home, built in 1899. Located in Springfield’s historic Forest Park District, the Lathrop House B&B first welcomed guests in 2003. Within walking distance of a variety of pubs and restaurants, video store, pharmacies, churches, synagogues and world-class bridge club, the Lathrop House B&B is within five minutes drive of the Basketball Hall of Fame and downtown Springfield, ten minutes to the Big E and Six Flags, and twenty minutes from Bradley International Airport. The five-college area of Northampton and Amherst, Hartford and West Hartford are no more than a half-hour away. Note: In "this old house," rooms share a bathroom, but we can often make arrangements for your exclusive use.
