Pioneer Valley Photographic Artists exhibit at the Valley Photo Center

The Valley Photo Center (VPC) is proud to announce its opening exhibit for the 2011-2012 season.  Members of the Pioneer Valley Photographic Artists (PVPA) will exhibit their work beginning Tuesday, October 18 through Friday, November 25.  21 artists from the PVPA will exhibit photographs from all over the world.  Both digital and film images by artists from our community will be shown.  Photographers like Len Seeve, Paul Hetzel and Diana Mara Henry will be showing images.  Please join us for the artists reception on Sunday, October 16 from 3:00pm – 5:00pm.

The Pioneer Valley Photographic Artists is an informal organization of people who have an avid and active interest in pursuing the art of photography. Members of PVPA selectively provide photographic art for gallery exhibits and sales, various means of publication, and from time to time, promotional events for the art of photography. Recognizing the wealth of photographic talent in our communities, the aim of PVPA is to further the photographic interests and talents of the members and to engage in outreach, education, and artistic appreciation through exhibits and lectures provided to the community.

The Valley Photo Center is a Photographic Resource Center dedicated to promoting Photography in Western Massachusetts through exhibition, education and publication.
We operate an exhibition gallery on the second floor of Tower Square (across from the food court) in downtown Springfield, where we have staged numerous exhibitions involving over 100 photographers from the region.  Gallery hours are 11:00am to 2:00pm, Tuesday through Friday during exhibits. Please visit our website at ValleyPhotoCenter.com or “like” us on Facebook.  The Gallery is located at 1500 Main St., Springfield, MA 01115.  For more information, please call 413.781.1553.
